About Mike Dickson // Proof of Life

I am a professional photographer living in Ottawa, Canada. Most of my professional work ( which you can view at photosforlife.ca ) documents family history, such as weddings and children. This website is a home for my personal work which focuses primarily on landscapes and nature photography and especially waterfalls.

I want this site to be more than just a huge list of photos however. This is why I try to explain the back story for some of these pictures to help put them in context. I also share what was going on when the picture was taken.
